Pyrenean Shepherd

The Pyrenean Shepherd is a lively and intelligent herding dog breed originating from the Pyrenees mountains of France. They have strong herding instincts and excel at working livestock. They are agile and quick on their feet, capable of maneuvering and controlling flocks with ease. Pyrenean Shepherds come in two varieties: the Rough-Faced variety, which is medium-sized, and the Smooth-Faced variety, which is small to medium-sized. Rough-Faced Pyrenean Shepherds typically weigh between 35 to 50 pounds (16 to 23 kilograms), while Smooth-Faced Pyrenean Shepherds weigh between 15 to 30 pounds (7 to 14 kilograms).
