Russian Hound

The Russian Hound, also known as the Russkaya Okhota or Russian Scenthound, is a breed of hunting dog originating from Russia. They are primarily bred for hunting purposes. They excel in tracking and trailing game, particularly small and medium-sized game such as hare, fox, and raccoon. They have a keen sense of smell and are tenacious hunters. Russian Hounds are medium-sized dogs with a strong and muscular build. They have a short, dense coat that comes in various colors, including black and tan, tricolor, or red and white. Their ears are typically floppy, and they have a long tail that may be carried low or curved upwards.
