The Xoloitzcuintle (show-luht- skweent-lay), often referred to as the Xolo, is a unique and ancient breed originating from Mexico. Xolos come in three size varieties: Toy, Miniature, and Standard. They are characterized by their sleek, hairless bodies, although some Xolos may have a short, dense coat. Their skin can range from smooth to slightly wrinkled. They also have a unique appearance with large, upright ears and almond-shaped eyes.
